वयं बाह्याः कृता देव श्राद्धानां बलविद्विषा । तव श्राद्धे गता यस्माद्गयायां प्राङ्निमंत्रिताः

Transliteration

vayaṃ bāhyāḥ kṛtā deva śrāddhānāṃ balavidviṣā | tava śrāddhe gatā yasmādgayāyāṃ prāṅnimaṃtritāḥ

Translation

ഹേ ദേവാ! ബലവൈരിയായ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) ഞങ്ങളെ ശ്രാദ്ധകർമ്മങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്താക്കി. കാരണം, മുൻകൂട്ടി ക്ഷണിക്കപ്പെട്ട് ഗയയിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ശ്രാദ്ധത്തിന് ഞങ്ങൾ പോയിരുന്നു.
