धर्मज्ञस्तु कृतज्ञस्तु देवस्वपरिवर्जकः । तच्छ्रुत्वा वासवो हृष्टस्तमुवाच द्विजोत्तमम्
dharmajñastu kṛtajñastu devasvaparivarjakaḥ | tacchrutvā vāsavo hṛṣṭastamuvāca dvijottamam
അവൻ ധർമ്മജ്ഞനും കൃതജ്ഞനും ദേവസ്വം ദുരുപയോഗം ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുന്നവനും ആയിരുന്നു; അത് കേട്ട് വാസവൻ സന്തോഷിച്ച് ആ ദ്വിജോത്തമനോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
