इन्द्र उवाच । वर्षेवर्षे तदा श्राद्धं प्रकरोति पितामहः । गयां गत्वा दिने तस्मिन्पितॄणां दिव्यरूपिणाम्
indra uvāca | varṣevarṣe tadā śrāddhaṃ prakaroti pitāmahaḥ | gayāṃ gatvā dine tasminpitṝṇāṃ divyarūpiṇām
ഇന്ദ്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അങ്ങനെ പിതാമഹൻ (ബ്രഹ്മാവ്) വർഷംതോറും ആ ദിനത്തിൽ ഗയയിൽ ചെന്നു ദിവ്യരൂപികളായ പിതൃകൾക്കായി ശ്രാദ്ധം നിർവഹിക്കുന്നു.
