yasya no jāyate śuddhiḥ śākhābhirmūlavaṃśagā | nigrahastasya kartavyo dvijārho dvijasattamaiḥ

മൂലവംശവുമായി ബന്ധമുള്ള ശാഖാപരമ്പരകളാൽ ആരുടെയെങ്കിലും ശുദ്ധി സ്ഥാപിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ, ദ്വിജാർഹതയുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ദ്വിജസത്തമന്മാർ അവനോട് യഥോചിതമായ നിയന്ത്രണം ഏർപ്പെടുത്തണം.
