अज्ञातपितृवंशो यो दूरादपि समागतः । सामान्यं वांछते पद्यं नागरोऽस्मीति कीर्तयन्
ajñātapitṛvaṃśo yo dūrādapi samāgataḥ | sāmānyaṃ vāṃchate padyaṃ nāgaro'smīti kīrtayan
പിതൃവംശം അറിയാത്തവൻ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നും വന്നിട്ടും ‘ഞാൻ നാഗരൻ’ എന്നു പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് പൊതുവായ പൗരസ്ഥാനമാഗ്രഹിച്ചാൽ—
