अथाऽवलोकयामास स्वप्ने दशरथं नृपम् । यद्वत्पूर्वं प्रियाऽलापसंसक्तं हृष्टमानसम्

athā'valokayāmāsa svapne daśarathaṃ nṛpam | yadvatpūrvaṃ priyā'lāpasaṃsaktaṃ hṛṣṭamānasam

പിന്നീട് സ്വപ്നത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം രാജാവ് ദശരഥനെ കണ്ടു—മുന്പത്തെപ്പോലെ—സ്നേഹസംഭാഷണത്തിൽ ലീനനായി, ഹർഷഭരിതചിത്തനായി।
