ततः कोपपरीतात्मा सौमित्रिः प्राह राघवम् । नाहं शय्यां करिष्यामि पादप्रक्षालनं न च

അപ്പോൾ കോപം പിടിച്ച മനസ്സുള്ള സൗമിത്രി (ലക്ഷ്മണൻ) രാഘവനോട് പറഞ്ഞു—‘ഞാൻ ശയ്യ ഒരുക്കുകയില്ല; പാദപ്രക്ഷാളനവും ചെയ്യുകയില്ല.’
