तत्रासीन्माधवोनाम ब्राह्मणो वेदपारगः । वसिष्ठगोत्रविख्यात एकप्रवरसूचितः
tatrāsīnmādhavonāma brāhmaṇo vedapāragaḥ | vasiṣṭhagotravikhyāta ekapravarasūcitaḥ
“അവിടെ ‘മാധവ’ എന്ന പേരുള്ള ഒരു ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു, വേദപാരംഗതൻ; വസിഷ്ഠ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധൻ, ഏകപ്രവരനെന്നു അറിയപ്പെട്ടവൻ.”
