tataḥprabhṛti tatkhyātaṃ tīrthayugmaṃ dharātale | āgatyātha naro dūrāttābhyāṃ kṛtvā nimajjanam

അന്നുമുതൽ ആ തീർത്ഥയുഗ്മം ഭൂമിയിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധമായി. പിന്നെ ഒരാൾ ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന് വന്ന് അവ രണ്ടിലും മുങ്ങി സ്നാനം ചെയ്താൽ—
