tataḥ provāca tāṃ kanyāṃ brāhmaṇīṃ saṃmatāṃ sakhīm | kṛtāṃjalipuṭā bhūtvā samāliṃgya ca sādaram

പിന്നീട് അവൾ കൈകൂപ്പി, സാദരമായി ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്ത്, മാന്യയായ ബ്രാഹ്മണീ സഖിയായ ആ കന്യയോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
