पश्चिमे वयसि प्राप्ते तस्य पुत्रो बभूव ह । परावसुरिति ख्यातस्तस्य प्राणसमः सदा
paścime vayasi prāpte tasya putro babhūva ha | parāvasuriti khyātastasya prāṇasamaḥ sadā
അവൻ വാർദ്ധക്യത്തിലേക്കെത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവനൊരു പുത്രൻ ജനിച്ചു; ‘പരാവസു’ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധനായ ആ പുത്രൻ എപ്പോഴും അവനു പ്രാണസമാന പ്രിയനായിരുന്നു.
