brāhmaṇyuvāca | nāhaṃ patiṃ prayāsyāmi kumārī brahmacāriṇī | deyā priyā sakhī yatra tāvadyāsyāmi tatra ca

Translation

ബ്രാഹ്മണകന്നി പറഞ്ഞു—ഞാൻ കുമാരിയായ ബ്രഹ്മചാരിണിയാണ്; ഞാൻ ഭർത്താവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുകയില്ല। വിവാഹത്തിൽ നൽകപ്പെടുന്ന എന്റെ പ്രിയ സഖി എവിടെയുണ്ടോ, അവിടേക്കു ഞാൻ ചെന്നു അവളോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ പാർക്കും।
