यथैते दंशमशका मानुषाणां च कीटकाः । जायंते च म्रियंते च गण्यंते नैव कुत्रचित् । इन्द्रादीनां तथा मर्त्याः संभाव्या जगतीतले
yathaite daṃśamaśakā mānuṣāṇāṃ ca kīṭakāḥ | jāyaṃte ca mriyaṃte ca gaṇyaṃte naiva kutracit | indrādīnāṃ tathā martyāḥ saṃbhāvyā jagatītale
മനുഷ്യരിടയിൽ കൊതുക് മുതലായ കീടങ്ങൾ ജനിച്ച് മരിച്ചാലും എവിടെയും എണ്ണപ്പെടാത്തതുപോലെ, ഭൂമിത്തലത്തിൽ ഇന്ദ്രാദികളോടു താരതമ്യത്തിൽ മർത്ത്യരും (അസംഖ്യവും തുച്ഛവും) ആയി കരുതപ്പെടുന്നു.
