सूत उवाच । गतायामथ सावित्र्यां शापं दत्त्वा द्विजोत्तमाः । गायत्री सहसोत्थाय वाक्यमेतदुदैरयत्

സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സാവിത്രി പോയശേഷം ശാപം നൽകി, ഹേ ദ്വിജോത്തമന്മാരേ, ഗായത്രി ഉടൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് ഈ വചനങ്ങൾ ഉച്ചരിച്ചു।
