सूत उवाच । एवं तत्र स्थिता देवी सावित्री पर्वता श्रया । अपमानं महत्प्राप्य सकाशात्स्वपतेस्तदा
sūta uvāca | evaṃ tatra sthitā devī sāvitrī parvatā śrayā | apamānaṃ mahatprāpya sakāśātsvapatestadā
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇങ്ങനെ പർവതത്തെ ആശ്രയിച്ച് ദേവി സാവിത്രി അവിടെ നിലകൊണ്ടു; അപ്പോൾ സ്വന്തം ഭർത്താവിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ അവൾ മഹത്തായ അപമാനം അനുഭവിച്ചു।
