तस्माद्वदथ किं दानं युष्मद्भूमेश्च निष्क्रये । प्रयच्छामि च यज्ञस्य येन मे स्यात्फलं द्विजाः

Transliteration

tasmādvadatha kiṃ dānaṃ yuṣmadbhūmeśca niṣkraye | prayacchāmi ca yajñasya yena me syātphalaṃ dvijāḥ

Translation

അതുകൊണ്ട് പറയുവിൻ—നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭൂമിയുടെ നിഷ്ക്രയം (വിമോചനമൂല്യം) ആയി ഏതു ദാനം നൽകണം? യജ്ഞസിദ്ധിക്കായി ഞാൻ അത് നൽകാം; ഹേ ദ്വിജന്മാരേ, അതിന്റെ ഫലം എനിക്കു ലഭിക്കട്ടെ.
