स्नानं च कुरुते श्रेयः संप्राप्नोति यथोदितम् । दूरस्थोऽपि सुवृद्धोऽपि बालोऽपि च समागतः । स्नानजं लभते श्रेयः संदृष्टेऽपि यथोदितम्
snānaṃ ca kurute śreyaḥ saṃprāpnoti yathoditam | dūrastho'pi suvṛddho'pi bālo'pi ca samāgataḥ | snānajaṃ labhate śreyaḥ saṃdṛṣṭe'pi yathoditam
ആർ പുണ്യസ്നാനം ചെയ്യുമോ, അവൻ ശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചതുപോലെ ശ്രേയസ്സു പ്രാപിക്കും. ദൂരസ്ഥനായാലും, അതിവൃദ്ധനായാലും, അവിടെ എത്തിയ ബാലനായാലും—എല്ലാവർക്കും സ്നാനജന്യ പുണ്യം ലഭിക്കും; തീർത്ഥത്തെ വെറും ദർശനം ചെയ്താലും പറഞ്ഞ ഫലം ലഭിക്കുന്നു.
