सर्वे धर्मा धृताः पूर्वमेकत्राऽन्यत्र चाप्यृतम् । तुलायां कौतुकाद्देवैर्जातं तत्र ऋतं गुरु

sarve dharmā dhṛtāḥ pūrvamekatrā'nyatra cāpyṛtam | tulāyāṃ kautukāddevairjātaṃ tatra ṛtaṃ guru

പണ്ടുകാലത്ത് എല്ലാ ധർമ്മങ്ങളും ഒരുവശത്ത് വെച്ചു, മറ്റുവശത്ത് ഋതവും വെച്ചു. ദേവന്മാർ കൗതുകത്തോടെ തുലാസിൽ തൂക്കിയപ്പോൾ, അവിടെ ഋതം തന്നെയാണ് കൂടുതൽ ഭാരമുള്ളതായി തെളിഞ്ഞത്.
