सूत उवाच । शृण्वन्तु मुनयः सर्वे माहात्म्यमिदमुत्तमम् । येन संश्रुतमात्रेण नश्येत्पापं दिनोद्भवम्
sūta uvāca | śṛṇvantu munayaḥ sarve māhātmyamidamuttamam | yena saṃśrutamātreṇa naśyetpāpaṃ dinodbhavam
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ മുനിമാരേ, നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും ഈ ഉത്തമ മഹാത്മ്യം ശ്രവിക്കൂ; ഇതു കേൾക്കുന്നതുമാത്രം കൊണ്ടു ദിനംപ്രതി ഉദ്ഭവിക്കുന്ന പാപം നശിക്കുന്നു।
