sūta uvāca | etasminnaṃtare prāptāḥ sarve devāḥ savāsavāḥ | vāsudevaṃ puraskṛtya tathā caiva maheśvaram
Sūta
Type: kshetra
Scene: A celestial procession descends: Indra with the devas, Vāsudeva placed at the fore, and Maheśvara honored alongside—an emblem of cosmic unity at a sacred spot.
A truly sacred rite draws the whole divine order; dharma unites sectarian streams as Vāsudeva and Maheśvara are honoured together.
The verse emphasizes the sanctity of the location by showing the devas’ arrival, but it does not name the site in this line.
No direct prescription; it narrates divine attendance, implying the extraordinary merit of the ongoing sacred event.
