य एष क्रियते यज्ञस्तस्य नाथो हरिः स्मृतः । एतस्मात्कारणात्प्रोक्तः स देवो यज्ञपूरुषः
ya eṣa kriyate yajñastasya nātho hariḥ smṛtaḥ | etasmātkāraṇātproktaḥ sa devo yajñapūruṣaḥ
ഈ യജ്ഞം നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നതിന്റെ നാഥൻ ഹരിയെന്നു സ്മരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ആ ദേവൻ ‘യജ്ഞപുരുഷൻ’ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധൻ.
