अहो होतुः स्थिते प्रैषे दीर्घसत्रसमुद्भवे । स सर्पो वेष्टयामास तस्य गात्रं समंततः
aho hotuḥ sthite praiṣe dīrghasatrasamudbhave | sa sarpo veṣṭayāmāsa tasya gātraṃ samaṃtataḥ
അയ്യോ! ദീർഘസത്രത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ, നിയത പ്രൈഷസ്ഥാനത്ത് നിന്ന ഹോതൃവിന്റെ ശരീരത്തെ ആ സർപ്പം എല്ലാടവും ചുറ്റിപ്പിടിച്ചു.
