औदुम्बरं ततो दण्डं पुलस्त्योऽस्मै समाददे । एणशृंगान्वितं चर्म मन्त्रवद्विजसत्तमाः
audumbaraṃ tato daṇḍaṃ pulastyo'smai samādade | eṇaśṛṃgānvitaṃ carma mantravadvijasattamāḥ
അനന്തരം പുലസ്ത്യ ഋഷി അവന് ഔദുംബരമരത്താൽ ചെയ്ത ദണ്ഡം നൽകി; മന്ത്രോച്ചാരണത്തോടെ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ദ്വിജന്മാർ ശൃംഗങ്ങളോടുകൂടിയ മൃഗചർമ്മവും സമർപ്പിച്ചു।
