एते द्विजाधमाः कस्माद्विद्विषंतिपितामह । तथा न मां समुद्दिश्य जुहुवुर्जातवेदसि
ete dvijādhamāḥ kasmādvidviṣaṃtipitāmaha | tathā na māṃ samuddiśya juhuvurjātavedasi
ഹേ പിതാമഹാ (ബ്രഹ്മാ)! ഈ അധമ ദ്വിജന്മാർ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നു? ജാതവേദസ് (അഗ്നി)യിൽ എന്നെ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കാതെ അവർ ആഹുതി അർപ്പിച്ചു।
