ऋत्विज ऊचुः । कथं यज्ञक्रिया कार्या कपाले सदसि स्थिते । परिक्षिपथ तस्मात्तु एवमूचुर्द्विजोत्तमाः
ṛtvija ūcuḥ | kathaṃ yajñakriyā kāryā kapāle sadasi sthite | parikṣipatha tasmāttu evamūcurdvijottamāḥ
ഋത്വിജർ പറഞ്ഞു—സഭയിൽ കപാലം കിടക്കുമ്പോൾ യജ്ഞക്രിയ എങ്ങനെ നടത്താം? അതിനാൽ അതിനെ പുറത്തേക്ക് എറിഞ്ഞുകളയുക—ഇങ്ങനെ ദ്വിജോത്തമർ പറഞ്ഞു.
