देवा ऊचुः । येन यच्चात्र कर्तव्यं तच्छीघ्रं वद पद्मज । यज्ञे तव महाभाग तस्य तत्त्वं समादिश
devā ūcuḥ | yena yaccātra kartavyaṃ tacchīghraṃ vada padmaja | yajñe tava mahābhāga tasya tattvaṃ samādiśa
ദേവന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ പദ്മജാ! ഇവിടെ ആരാൽ എന്ത് കർത്തവ്യം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാണെന്ന് വേഗത്തിൽ പറയുക. ഹേ മഹാഭാഗാ! നിന്റെ യജ്ഞത്തിന്റെ തത്ത്വവും വിധിയും ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് യഥാർത്ഥമായി ഉപദേശിക്കൂ.
