kāraṇāttava rājeṃdra niśāmetāṃ vanaspatau | neṣyāmo'nyatra yāsyāmaḥ prabhā te'nyatra kānane

എന്നാൽ ഹേ രാജേന്ദ്രാ! നിന്റെ കാരണത്താൽ ഞങ്ങൾ ഈ വൃക്ഷത്തിനരികെ ഈ രാത്രി കഴിക്കും. പ്രഭാതത്തിൽ മറ്റിടത്തേക്ക് പോകും; നിന്റെ പ്രഭയും മറ്റൊരു കാനനത്തിൽ പ്രകാശിക്കും।
