पीयूषार्णववेलेव विषवृक्षलतेव च । उलूकैश्चक्रवाकैश्च युगपद्या विलोक्यते
pīyūṣārṇavaveleva viṣavṛkṣalateva ca | ulūkaiścakravākaiśca yugapadyā vilokyate
ആ രാത്രി ഒരേസമയം രണ്ട് വിരുദ്ധ രൂപങ്ങളിൽ ദൃശ്യമാണ്—അമൃതസമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ തീരംപോലെയും, വിഷവൃക്ഷത്തിൽ പടർന്ന ലതപോലെയും; ഉലൂകങ്ങൾക്കും ചക്രവാകപ്പക്ഷികൾക്കും ഒരുപോലെ അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ കാണപ്പെടുന്നു।
