सूत उवाच । तच्छ्रुत्वा वचनं तस्याः शंखचक्रगदाधरः । विहस्याथ महालक्ष्मीं तामुवाच प्रहर्षितः । मुहुर्मुहुः समालिंग्य वक्षसश्चोपरि स्थिताम्
sūta uvāca | tacchrutvā vacanaṃ tasyāḥ śaṃkhacakragadādharaḥ | vihasyātha mahālakṣmīṃ tāmuvāca praharṣitaḥ | muhurmuhuḥ samāliṃgya vakṣasaścopari sthitām
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവളുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് ശംഖചക്രഗദാധാരി ഭഗവാൻ പുഞ്ചിരിച്ചു; പിന്നെ ആനന്ദത്തോടെ, തന്റെ വക്ഷസ്ഥലത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ചിരുന്ന മഹാലക്ഷ്മിയെ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്ത് അവളോട് പറഞ്ഞു।
