न देवो विद्यते काष्ठे पाषाणे मृत्तिकासु च । भावेषु विद्यते देवो मन्त्रसंयोगसंयुतः
na devo vidyate kāṣṭhe pāṣāṇe mṛttikāsu ca | bhāveṣu vidyate devo mantrasaṃyogasaṃyutaḥ
ദേവൻ സ്വാഭാവികമായി മരത്തിലും കല്ലിലും മണ്ണിലും ഇല്ല; ശരിയായ മന്ത്രസംയോഗത്തോടെ ചേർന്ന ഭക്തിഭാവത്തിലാണ് ദേവൻ സന്നിഹിതനാകുന്നത്।
