अहमासं पुरा कन्या पुरे कुसुमसंज्ञिते । वीरसेनस्य शूद्रस्य वणिक्पुत्रस्य धीमतः । तेन दत्ताऽस्मि धर्मेण विवाहार्थं महात्मना
ahamāsaṃ purā kanyā pure kusumasaṃjñite | vīrasenasya śūdrasya vaṇikputrasya dhīmataḥ | tena dattā'smi dharmeṇa vivāhārthaṃ mahātmanā
മുമ്പ് ഞാൻ ‘കുസുമ’ എന്ന നഗരത്തിൽ ഒരു കന്യയായിരുന്നു. വണിക്കുലത്തിൽ ജനിച്ച് ശൂദ്രസ്ഥിതിയുള്ള ജ്ഞാനിയായ വീരസേനനു, ആ മഹാത്മാവ് ധർമ്മാനുസാരമായി വിവാഹാർത്ഥം എന്നെ ദാനം ചെയ്തു.
