Transliteration

pṛthivyāpaśca tejaśca vāyurākāśameva ca | sṛṣṭyarthaṃ rakṣayedeṣā tataḥ syātpaṃcapiṃḍikā

Translation

പൃഥ്വി, ജലം, തേജസ്, വായു, ആകാശം—ഈ അഞ്ചിനെയും സൃഷ്ടിക്കായി അവൾ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ട് അവൾ ‘പഞ്ചപിണ്ഡികാ’ എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്നു।
