पिप्पलाद उवाच । अद्यप्रभृति नो पीडा बालानां सूर्यनन्दन । त्वया कार्या महाभाग स्वकीया च कथंचन
pippalāda uvāca | adyaprabhṛti no pīḍā bālānāṃ sūryanandana | tvayā kāryā mahābhāga svakīyā ca kathaṃcana
പിപ്പലാദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഇന്നുമുതൽ, ഹേ സൂര്യനന്ദനാ! ബാലന്മാർക്ക് യാതൊരു പീഡയും നീ വരുത്തരുത്—എന്റെ കുട്ടികൾക്കോ മറ്റുള്ളവർക്കോ, ഹേ മഹാഭാഗ, എങ്ങനെയും അല്ല।”
