याज्ञवल्क्याश्रमे पुण्ये बांधवेन समन्विता । कस्यचित्त्वथ कालस्य याज्ञवल्क्यस्य भो द्विजाः
yājñavalkyāśrame puṇye bāṃdhavena samanvitā | kasyacittvatha kālasya yājñavalkyasya bho dvijāḥ
ഹേ ദ്വിജന്മാരേ, കുറെക്കാലത്തിന് ശേഷം യാജ്ഞവൽക്ക്യന്റെ പുണ്യാശ്രമത്തിൽ ഒരു സ്ത്രീ തന്റെ ഒരു ബന്ധുവിനോടൊപ്പം യാജ്ഞവൽക്ക്യന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു.
