अधोवक्त्रो द्विजश्रेष्ठाः पितुरादेशमाश्रितः । बालभावेऽपि तेनैव दग्धौ पादौ तदा रवेः
adhovaktro dvijaśreṣṭhāḥ piturādeśamāśritaḥ | bālabhāve'pi tenaiva dagdhau pādau tadā raveḥ
ഹേ ദ്വിജശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരേ! അവൻ അധോമുഖനായി പിതാവിന്റെ ആജ്ഞയെ ആശ്രയിച്ചു പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും ബാല്യത്തിലേയും അതേ കർമം മൂലം അന്ന് രവി (സൂര്യൻ)ന്റെ പാദങ്ങൾ ദഗ്ധമായി।
