व्रतचर्यामिषं कृत्वा सदा रहसि संस्थिता । संप्राप्ते दशमे मासि निशीथे समुपस्थिते । तस्याः कुमारको जातो वालार्कसदृशद्युतिः

vratacaryāmiṣaṃ kṛtvā sadā rahasi saṃsthitā | saṃprāpte daśame māsi niśīthe samupasthite | tasyāḥ kumārako jāto vālārkasadṛśadyutiḥ

വ്രതാചരണം പാലിച്ച് അവൾ എപ്പോഴും ഏകാന്തത്തിൽ പാർന്നു; പത്താം മാസം വന്നപ്പോൾ, അർദ്ധരാത്രിയിൽ, ഉദയസൂര്യനെപ്പോലെ ദീപ്തിയുള്ള ഒരു കുമാരനെ പ്രസവിച്ചു.
