विश्वामित्र उवाच । मम शत्रुर्मान्यो त्र वसिष्ठः कुमुनिः स्थितः । तं त्वं जहि द्रुतं गत्वा तदर्थं च मया कृता
viśvāmitra uvāca | mama śatrurmānyo tra vasiṣṭhaḥ kumuniḥ sthitaḥ | taṃ tvaṃ jahi drutaṃ gatvā tadarthaṃ ca mayā kṛtā
വിശ്വാമിത്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“എന്റെ മാന്യനായ ശത്രു, ആ മുനി വസിഷ്ഠൻ ഇവിടെ വസിക്കുന്നു. നീ വേഗത്തിൽ ചെന്നു അവനെ വധിക്ക; അതിനായിട്ടാണ് ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചത്.”
