अहो चित्रमहो चित्रं ययाऽकस्माद्वरूथिनी । तृप्तिं नीतेयमस्माकं क्षुत्पिपासासमाकुला
aho citramaho citraṃ yayā'kasmādvarūthinī | tṛptiṃ nīteyamasmākaṃ kṣutpipāsāsamākulā
അഹോ, എത്ര അത്ഭുതം—എത്ര മഹാത്ഭുതം! അവളാൽ അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി വിശപ്പും ദാഹവും കൊണ്ട് കലങ്ങിയ നമ്മുടെ ഈ മുഴുവൻ സൈന്യം തൃപ്തിയിലേക്കു നയിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
