एवमुक्त्वा ऋचीकस्तु स विसृज्य च तेजसी । सुहृष्टो ब्राह्मणश्रेष्ठः स्वयं च महितोऽभवत्
evamuktvā ṛcīkastu sa visṛjya ca tejasī | suhṛṣṭo brāhmaṇaśreṣṭhaḥ svayaṃ ca mahito'bhavat
ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ് ഋചീകൻ ആ രണ്ടു തേജസ്സുകളെയും വിട്ടുകൊടുത്തു (പ്രദാനം ചെയ്തു). ബ്രാഹ്മണശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ സന്തോഷിച്ചു; താനുമെത്രയും മഹത്വത്തോടെ ആദരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
