सूत उवाच । स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय गतश्चादर्शनं रविः । दीपवद्ब्राह्मणश्रेष्ठास्तदद्भुतमिवा भवत्
sūta uvāca | sa tatheti pratijñāya gataścādarśanaṃ raviḥ | dīpavadbrāhmaṇaśreṣṭhāstadadbhutamivā bhavat
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ‘തഥാസ്തു’ എന്നു പ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്ത് രവി (സൂര്യൻ) പിന്നെ ദർശനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് അദൃശ്യമാവുകയുണ്ടായി. ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരേ, അത് ദീപം പെട്ടെന്നു അണഞ്ഞതുപോലെ അത്ഭുതമായി തോന്നി.
