guḍaudanaṃ ca naivedyaṃ raktavastrābhiveṣṭitam | raktasūtreṇa dīpaṃ ca tathaivārārtikaṃ nṛpa

Translation

കൂടാതെ ശർക്കര ചേർത്ത അന്നം നൈവേദ്യമായി ചുവന്ന വസ്ത്രത്തിൽ പൊതിഞ്ഞ് അർപ്പിക്കണം. ചുവന്ന നൂലാൽ ദീപം ഒരുക്കി, അതുപോലെ ആരാര്ത്തികം (ആരതി) നടത്തണം, ഹേ നൃപ।
