ततोऽपराह्णसमये स्नात्वा धौतांबरः शुचिः । प्रतिमां पूजयेद्भक्त्या दिनाधिपसमुद्भवाम्
tato'parāhṇasamaye snātvā dhautāṃbaraḥ śuciḥ | pratimāṃ pūjayedbhaktyā dinādhipasamudbhavām
അതിനുശേഷം അപരാഹ്നസമയത്ത് സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത്, ശുദ്ധമായി കഴുകിയ വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു, ശുചിയായി, ദിനാധിപൻ (സൂര്യൻ)ന്റെ പ്രതിമയെ ഭക്തിയോടെ പൂജിക്കണം।
