अथवा पार्थिवो ज्ञात्वा कुरुते तस्य निग्र हम् । तेन शुद्धिमवाप्रोति यद्यपि स्यात्स किल्विषी
athavā pārthivo jñātvā kurute tasya nigra ham | tena śuddhimavāproti yadyapi syātsa kilviṣī
അല്ലെങ്കിൽ രാജാവ് കുറ്റം അറിഞ്ഞ് അവനെ ശിക്ഷിച്ച് നിയന്ത്രിച്ചാൽ, ആ ധർമ്മസമ്മത ശിക്ഷയാൽ അവൻ ശുദ്ധി പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു, അവൻ പാപിയായിരുന്നാലും.
