सूत उवाच । अहं वः कीर्तयिष्यामि रोहिताश्वस्य भूपतेः । मार्कंडेन पुरा प्रोक्ता पृच्छयमानेन भक्तितः
sūta uvāca | ahaṃ vaḥ kīrtayiṣyāmi rohitāśvasya bhūpateḥ | mārkaṃḍena purā proktā pṛcchayamānena bhaktitaḥ
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ വിപ്രന്മാരേ, ഭക്തിയോടെ ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ മുൻപ് മഹർഷി മാർകണ്ഡേയൻ രാജാവ് രോഹിതാശ്വനോട് ഉപദേശിച്ച ആ വിധിയെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് കീർത്തിച്ചു പറയും।
