सूत उवाच । अथास्य कथयामास सप्तमीं तां द्विजोत्तमाः । चंडशर्माभिधानस्तु कृत्वा तस्योपरि कृपाम्
sūta uvāca | athāsya kathayāmāsa saptamīṃ tāṃ dvijottamāḥ | caṃḍaśarmābhidhānastu kṛtvā tasyopari kṛpām
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അപ്പോൾ ദ്വിജോത്തമർ അവനോട് ആ സപ്തമിയെക്കുറിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു. ചണ്ഡശർമാ എന്ന പേരുള്ളവൻ അവനോടു കരുണ കാണിച്ച് ഉപദേശിച്ചു.
