सूत उवाच । अन्यस्मिन्नहनि प्राप्ते रहस्युक्तः स भार्यया । रात्रौ प्रसुप्तः पार्श्वे च पादौ संस्पृश्य तत्क्षणात्
sūta uvāca | anyasminnahani prāpte rahasyuktaḥ sa bhāryayā | rātrau prasuptaḥ pārśve ca pādau saṃspṛśya tatkṣaṇāt
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മറ്റൊരു ദിവസം വന്നപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ അവനോട് ഏകാന്തത്തിൽ രഹസ്യമായി പറഞ്ഞു. രാത്രിയിൽ അവൻ ഉറങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ, അവന്റെ അരികിൽ വന്ന് പാദങ്ങൾ സ്പർശിച്ച ഉടനെ തന്നെ ആ നിമിഷം സംസാരിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി।
