एवमुक्त्वा ततः सूर्यस्तस्य गात्राण्युपास्पृशत् । खंडितानि स्वहस्तेन निर्व्रणानि कृतानि च
evamuktvā tataḥ sūryastasya gātrāṇyupāspṛśat | khaṃḍitāni svahastena nirvraṇāni kṛtāni ca
ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ ശേഷം സൂര്യൻ അവന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളെ സ്പർശിച്ചു; തന്റെ കൈകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ചിതറിയ ഭാഗങ്ങളെ ചേർത്ത് മുറിവില്ലാത്തവയാക്കി।
