കൂടാതെ ഈ കർമ്മം അദ്ദേഹം മറ്റു കൗരവേന്ദ്രന്മാരുടെ നിമിത്തവും, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പാണ്ഡവരുടെ ക്ഷേമാർത്ഥവും നിർവഹിച്ചു।
