श्रीभगवानुवाच । न तेऽस्ति मरणं दैत्य कथंचिच्चिंतितं मया । तेनेत्थं विधृतं व्योम्नि भित्त्वा शूलेन वक्षसि

śrībhagavānuvāca | na te'sti maraṇaṃ daitya kathaṃcicciṃtitaṃ mayā | tenetthaṃ vidhṛtaṃ vyomni bhittvā śūlena vakṣasi

ശ്രീഭഗവാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ ദൈത്യാ! നിനക്കു മരണം ഇല്ല; അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാൽ ശൂലത്തോടെ നിന്റെ വക്ഷസ് ഭേദിച്ച് നിന്നെ ആകാശത്തിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ ധരിച്ചു നിർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
