तौ दृष्ट्वा स्मरदूती सा विललाप मृगेक्षणा । तच्छ्रुत्वा वचनं तस्याः प्रोचतुस्तां च तावुभौ
tau dṛṣṭvā smaradūtī sā vilalāpa mṛgekṣaṇā | tacchrutvā vacanaṃ tasyāḥ procatustāṃ ca tāvubhau
ആ രണ്ടുപേരെയും കണ്ട മൃഗനയനയായ യുവതി, കാമദേവന്റെ ദൂതിയെന്നപോലെ, വിലപിച്ചു. അവളുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് അവർ ഇരുവരും അവളോട് സംസാരിച്ചു।
